European Shark Week Colouring Competition 2009

The Shark Alliance was delighted with the interest of young people across Europe in the colouring and drawing competition this year. The standard of the entries was fantastic and  we are pleased to be able to show you  some of the wining entries  in the slide shows here. Well done to all who entered and thank you for your support of European Shark Week 2009.

The third annual European Shark Week, supported by the Save Our Seas Foundation, saw aquariums, dive groups and conservation organisations hosting more than 300 events.

More than 70,000 people have already signed the European Shark Week petition calling on José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, Prime Minister of Spain, to take the courageous step of becoming a leader in shark conservation. Please add your name here.
